I missed out on a big fire last saturday night, at a large car dealership.
It went from the car lot, to an ajoining tyre dealers, and burnt through the night.
125 fire fighters were there, which means that fire trucks came from all over london, possibly 25 fire engines, plus supporting vehicles.
I passed by on the sunday morning, and caught a few remaing vehicles.

   

At 13:49 Pooler Fire was dispatched to a structure fire in the Berwick Lakes neighborhood in Unincorporated Chatham County. Engine 64,62,61,63, Truck 61, Chief 60 & Chief 61 (as Safety) responded. Engine 64 arrived in 3 minutes and found the 2 story home with heavy fire showing from the B & C sides with fire through the roof. Engine 64 went interior as they had their own hydrant across the street. Units operated for about 20 minutes before using (3) 1.75" lines and a 2.5" attack line the fire was under control. Units remained on scene for over two hours conducting overhaul.

Shortly after midnight on September 7th, 2018 BCFD dispatched a Box Alarm for a fire at The Hardware Store at 418 S. Broadway. 1st arriving units reported smoke & fire showing, the following are some of my shots after arriving on the 3rd Alarm.

Can anyone identify this rig  (I'm thinking Georgia-Pacific), or explain the shield?

   

   

Hi. The United States Army received a bunch of Duplex / Thibault aerial trucks in the 80s - one batch delivered in 1982 and 83, plus another in 1985 and 86.
I had always thought that these trucks were built completely by Thibault. However, I've recently heard that FTI may have been involved somehow. I know FTI built a lot of trucks for the US military, but this is the first I have heard of this. Thibault went on to deliver several ladders to the US Air Force - these trucks had 3D bodies and this was noted in the various delivery listings that I found. No mention of FTI anywhere.

FTI could have built the bodies, acted as a dealer or this information may be totally incorrect. Can anyone provide any insight?

My significant other and myself are looking at moving away from Las Vegas, NV to Hazelton, PA. My question is this are there any member out there that have either lived in the area or visited the area and tell me how the departments in the area are about buffs and visits to the stations.
