About 13:50 today A 500 gallon propane tank exploded causing a fire. I was driving home from my shift today and noticed dark column of smoke to the northeast of me. I turned on my radio and heard a structure fire with explosion go out.

Down the street to the west 3 houses a fire had started. A engine company from Northeast Fire and Ems went to extinguish. They discovered the propane tank the had exploded landed here and started a field fire.
