Is it just me or does Sunrise keep buying new rigs? I though they just got a Pierce Velocity for E39. If so, where did the '07 Spartan/Saulsbury pictured get assigned?

Thanks in advance.
Correct!! The Velocity is currently assigned to E39 and the Spartan/Saulsbury is assigned to E72. It works on a special rotation system, every couple of months the rigs are reassigned to a different station.

I'm sure Tom (capttomo) can explain.

Here is the Velocity when it was assigned to E72.

Its an Illusion !!!! Hahahaha

Yes Alex is right.... we bought the 07 Spartan Saulsbury and the 08 Pierce Velocity....Station 92 is Special Operations and doesnt rotate, Station 39 and 72 roatate with each other and station 59 and 83 share a rotation. This helps distribute the mileage more evenly amongst the trucks and distribute the workload more evenly amongst the troops. The 07 and 08 pumpers were purposely put into this rotation because station 72 is the only house without an diesel exhaust system. Both these trucks have the new 07 engines with particulate filters. This gaurantees a "clean engine system" at 72 all the time. Construction on a new station 72 has just begun.

Mostly used at the Dolphin Training Camp... here is one of two Ford F-350 detail rescue units, they're usually assigned to either R365 or R465.

Wow, Alex!!! Your really getting the hang of this. Great job. I wish we could have gotten the Seminole engine while we were down, but time ran out. Maybe next spring.
