THIS will always be Baltimore Rescue 1 in my mind... this was the piece they were running when I first visited and this was the piece that came to Engine 32's house when my dad locked his keys in his car and asked for a locksmith (no, he didn't ask the firefighters to get Rescue 1 up to do this.... the firefighters called down to Rescue 1's house on thier own accord and they came out of the goodness of thier heart). It looks a little beaten but still in workable condition... I should wait till they auction this and go and buy the blasted thing LOL.

I got this shot on the 4th of July Parade and the front apron of Sta.6 It was parked there just like that. I was hoping to find the owner so i could get a shot with no poles or wires.

Hey Dave Fritz, for those of us of a certain age, THIS was Balto. R-1, here at work at a Key Hwy. worker back in winter 1992.

I remember when this was running as the back up rescue truck... it was a neat looking piece of equipment!! Hopefully I will see you at Fayette County this weekend.... we can talk about sirens and all kinds of good stuff!!
