Boston Fire Department - KDWMAEMT - 09-07-2006

If I was a betting man, Id say its a spare in service for E10. The building in the background looks to be on Congress St. across from the fire museum. Theres a restaurant that I cant remember the name of thats in there, where Ive dined before.

If Im right, the direction that the engine in question is coming from along with the dive rescue, would be E10 unless E39 went up toward the childrens museum and swung a U-turn before the pic was taken.

Yeah I am fairly certain its the spare.

there was also 2 EMS Rigs and 2 Marked Boston PD Cars as well as 1 Ford Taurus Dective's unit along with an Unmarked Ford Crown Vic Running Red lights (I assume that one was unmarked Boston Fire)

So yeah a lot was happening. All of these Firefighters and Police Officers were on the Congress Street Bridge and they had the inflatable Raft ready to go.

I was surprised I didn't see anything in the Local News.

Anyone Hear what happened.

this happened at 9:40 Last Night.

It could also be a sub for Engine 7 who would come in from that direction. Either way it's narrowed down to one of those units.

Body found in Fort Point Channel

Authorities removed an unidentified body last night from Fort Point Channel, police said. Fire officials said the remains were of a woman wearing an orange striped shirt and khaki pants. The body was found shortly after 9:30 near 300 Congress St. The Coast Guard assisted with the removal of the body. Police said they are investigating the discovery as a ``suspicious death."

Any updates on the new E\-One pump, or Rescue-1's new Quantum ?

Boston Fire Department - Guest - 09-10-2006

I don't have any info on the new stuff yet. I am sure that others here may have more info.

Boston Fire Department - KDWMAEMT - 09-10-2006

No updates yet. If I remember correctly, I wouldnt look for them for another month and a half to two months. They were ordered at roughly the same time and are scheduled for delivery at roughly the same time (early November). Thats the last info I heard.
