If they are unable to do so then they will go to the county and ask for a new department to be formed and go about purchasing the equipment. With Co.12 being OOS the neighboring companies of Sharpsburg Fire Co.1, Williamsport Fire/EMS Co.2, Boonsboro Fire Co.6,Funkstown Fire Co.10 and Sharpsburg EMS Co.19 have less than a 1% failed response. Washington County Fire and EMS have established Washington County Support 14. Co.14 which is a first response unit is stationed at the Washington County Agriculture Center.
