Jeff:

Prior to being owned by the Akron, NY fire company this truck was previously owned by the Main Transit Fire Company of Williamsville, NY which ran as Ladder 6. I know Depew's ladder sold but I think that truck is owned by a department outside of the WNY area. Plus the difference between this truck and Depew's ladder was Depew's had a pump. This is the best pic I have of this truck, anyone out there have a better one and know the where abouts of this rig?

Those photos were actually taken in Sloatsburg at St Mary's Villa by a member the day the truck was delivered, they are not Mack factory photos. Also, it's a 1983 model, not 1984, and has been retired for 6 years (since it's posted in the NYS current apparatus thread). Nice shots, though, thanks for posting them.

They were 8x10 photos in a Mack factory photo collection. They sure looked like Mack publicity photos.

Was this a LTI body?

It was a Hammerly Body. It is still in service in Kingsbury NY (Washington County)

Sylvan Beach NY recently took delivery of this 2009 Pierce Contender 1250/1000 Pierce job #22394.

New York State - John Kenealy - 03-21-2010

McConnellsville NY also recently added a Pierce to their lineup, an older Lance that came from "down south somewhere". It has a 1500 gpm pump and is Pierce job # E-6273. Anyone know where this one came from?

New York State - John Kenealy - 03-21-2010

The two shots above and this one came from a St Patrick's Day parade in Camden NY. The newest Camden rig is this Crimson pumper.

New York State - John Kenealy - 03-21-2010

Another rig from Camden is this older tanker built on an International chassis. For some reason this one looks like it might have been rechassied. I'm also thinking that this is a Sanford body.

And I thought Sloatsburg maintained it in mint condition all those years!

The Pem Fab icon was removed from the front of this rig.

I wounder if this was done by Sanford or the Fire department.
