They are in fact Jed Butler's photo's. They were purchased about 5 years ago.

A blast from the past for sure! Back when I was just a young little sparkie, and before I even thought of using a camera myself, I bought lots of photos from him. Still have 'em too. Seemed like a nice guy. Nearly 30 years ago???? Ugh

Did you also snag the Boston engine that assigned to the line box up there?

No these were the only units that arrived on the scene. I rode to the call on the tower. The Chelsea boys were first class <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/luxhello.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Luxhello' />

Quote:Hopefully all the fire fighters are okay.

Howie are you sure it was the Pierce/Maxim spare or was it the old Ladder 2?

I don't think there were any major injuries after all. I haven't heard any scuttlebutt in several days so all must be well. I was working at the fire academy the day after the accident and I believe I heard Somerville DFC Salvi say it was the Pierce/Maxim spare.
