This was one of 5 new rigs the department bought in 2014. When I was assigned to Country Club at Valley View Senior Apartments I would see Engine 5 in the complex all the time.

I took these next few photos when Engine 5 was in the complex for a stove fire. The residents sometimes insist on calling us in Maintenance instead of the fire department. Any time we would get a report of a fire in a unit (which did not happen often) we would go ahead and call the fire department just in case. In the case of this "stove fire" it was small and in the oven and we had it out by the time the fire department arrived. These were taken with my Samsung Galaxy S5 that I had at the time.

Most of my photos are taken when the Opportunity presents itself. I don't feel right knocking on the door of the Stations unless I have been invited because that is their home. I took this photo of Engine 8 back in April of 2014 at a structure fire in the Eastern part of the Valley.

Henderson Fire Department on the scene of a search and rescue at the Orleans Casino. One of the Casino's Engineers was working in a confined space area and had not been seen for a while. Clark County Fire Department found some of his personnel items but was not sure where he was so they called for help. Heavy Rescue 44 from the City of Las Vegas was out on a call so the Henderson Fire Rescue units were called. They responded with the entire station out of Station 82.
