To follow up on Dave's info, I believe I remember them saying this truck was specifically built for Barnesville, and when delivered, it was too big to fit in the station, so Gatlinburg bought it, thus the mismatched (at the time) paint scheme.

Yes, the rig was spec'd by Barnesville.  It did not meet specs, as it exceeded the overall length limit in the specs.  The Chief, or should I say former Chief, accepted the apparatus without taking measurements before delivery.  The issue was not discovered until the rig was backed into the station.  With the rear bumper almost touching the back wall, there was still six inches of bucket still outside.  The truck was placed up for sale and a replacement was purchased.
