Another slide scan. East Hazel Crest Engine 1660, an FWD, no other info taken as I was just a newcomer to the hobby way back then. Taken July of 1983 at the Dolton $th of July Parade I believe.

This next shot was taken at a The Des Plaines Theater fire in the early '80's. Glenbrook Fire Prot. Dist's ALF Pioneer. Glenbrook has long since been merged into the Glenview Fire Dept.

I had some time today after doing a couple of demo's to shoot most of the fleet (Engine 6 left on a call) in Quincy, IL (Adams County). I was not able to get serial numbers or info off all the rigs before they took off from the training site. Quincy operates out of 5 stations with 5 engines, 1 Aerial Platform and 1 Heavy Rescue in addition to many support vehicles. The department is 63 members as of right now but the threat of layoffs is looming large here. They are part of MABAS Div.44. They currently have a couple of rigs on order from Ferrara with delivery expected in November of this year.
