St. Louis Metro - Guest - 05-19-2011 another... St. Louis Metro - Guest - 05-19-2011 No. Engine8 was the first. Apparently it is a tradition in the StLFD for "The 8s" to receive the first new rig. Engine2 should have been in service before us, dont know the full details why they arent in their new rig. The 24s, 31s, and 32s are in town too. St. Louis Metro - Guest - 05-19-2011 Last one for tonight. I will have my camera next day Im on, and get better/more pics.. St. Louis Metro - Guest - 05-20-2011 Its definately different! I just saw the 28s on Saturday at one of our PR Events, the only thing I think it had on it were the rescue tools. Can you grab a shot of E28/HL 5 inquarters? St. Louis Metro - Guest - 05-20-2011 Sure. They look pretty good sittin next to each other. We ran her thru the gammit this afternoon/evening...man can she move some water! Some minor little tweeks needed, but it seems its gonna be an awsome workhorse! St. Louis Metro - ben_mazanec - 05-20-2011 When is your next day! I wanna come down and shoot for you guys!!! St. Louis Metro - Guest - 05-20-2011 looking good post more. St. Louis Metro - Guest - 05-20-2011 Was the first call for a person down behind Club Elite or 711?? St. Louis Metro - Juice - 05-21-2011 I thought I asked, but looking back I forgot to apparently, is there anymore shots of the shops? That looks awful cramped to me! Trav! St. Louis Metro - Guest - 05-21-2011 In fear of violating a HIPAA violation, I can not disclose the location/nature of our 1st run in the new rig. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> However, I will tell you it was niether 711, nor Club Elite. Actually, I dont remember ever getting a run at Club Elite. St. Louis Metro - ben_mazanec - 05-27-2011 Just got the new H&L 2 in a couple of days ago! gonna go down there on monday morning to officially shoot it! 100' Platform to replace our '96 E\-One! Credit to Scott Fredrickson of Engine 2 St. Louis Metro - Guest - 05-27-2011 E 1, 31 and 32 are in. The new concept worked great today.... 2 engines (you could make it 3 if you count the reserve quint with no aerial capabilites in front of a 2.5 story house with smoke from the top portion of the house. No room for the H&L. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> St. Louis Metro - Guest - 05-28-2011 All good things come in time my friend... its a whole new world to get used to now that they have to leave room for the truck! We got our new Smeal 100' Platform in last week and I finally got to see it! This one is going to H&L 2(just around the corner in the same building)Replacing the '96 105' E\-One platform. The guys from every shift must have been coming in and out, looking and waiting! They are really really due for a new rig! Anyways, here is what i got! This thing is MASSIVE! 50' ??" and loaded with features! Starting at the rear. St. Louis Metro - ben_mazanec - 05-30-2011 Driver's side rear ladder compartment. Also with 2 Pike poles.
