There was a fourth, Montpelier Truck 8 (old Truck 6, 1985 or 1987 Seagrave 100' RM), but it failed it's last ladder test and was eventually replaced with Squad 8. Probably 2-3 miles from the main gate of KD. KD also has it's own safety personnel which operate a park-owned midi-pumper and a county-owned ambulance. Emporia is located just off of I95 near the North Carolina border. They recently took delivery of their new Truck 3, a large 2009 Pierce Impel with an Encore rescue body. It has job number 21244. This one is normally operated by the volunteers at Company 7. Like the other large tankers at Enon & Philips, this one seems a beast to maneuver.
