Kansas City area fire apparatus - MFD76 - 05-25-2009 Lawrence Batt. 1 REAR Kansas City area fire apparatus - Ladder 68 - 05-25-2009 So 1 of the '86 Pierce Lance pumpers, when new, was assigned to E3. Then that rig went to E1 and from there Reserve Engine 7? And the other Was at E2 and from there to Reserve Engine 2? Thanks in advance. Thanks in advance.[/quote] Sorry yes for the confusion Engine 3 new 1986-1996, Engine 1 1996-2004 and Reserve Engine 7 2004-current. Engine 2 new 1986-1994, Reserve Engine 6 1994-current. Engine 6 did not serve very long front line due to Lawrence starting to change the sub-stations to Quints in the early 1990's. Also the 1967 Seagrave Reserve Engines were well worn by 1994 and they needed to be replaced. Althought they were very classic. After 1992 and 1994 there were two Pierce Suburban Ford C-8000's in reserve ex Engine 1 with Q siren and ex Engine 4 without Q siren. Medic 4 is normally in one of the six new White over Red Ambulances. This was the last of the green Medic Units delivered. It is not the most striking paint or graphics layout <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Kansas City area fire apparatus - MFD76 - 05-25-2009 Current Quint 4 OFFICER SIDE 1992 Pierce Lance 75ft Tele-Squirt 1500/500 (very simlar spec to Overland Parks 1987 Pierce Lance 75ft Tele-Squirt) This is the Quint that started the change to Quints in the Sub-Stations. It is called Franken-Quint due to ongoing issues since delivery. That is why it will not serve in reserve. The officers side is pre-piped with a base-mount, however the ladder rack when it stows it covers the base-mount so no deck gun is mounted.
