I know they did some demos with them at one time but there are not any there now. Why doesn't the L.A.F.D. lean one way or the other when it comes to Pierce/Seagrave? Seems like they constantly order a "split" batch. Los Angeles Fire Dept - Ladder 68 - 11-11-2007 There are 4 of them I believe, all being '05 Pierce Arrow XT's. Haz Mat Squad's 04 (Chinatown), 95 (LAX), 48 (San Pedro) and 70 (Northridge) have them assigned. Unsure if there is still a Haz Mat Squad 39 in Van Nuys and if so what they are running although at one point they had one of the '92 Seagrave/Saulsbury rigs (That went to SQD70 at some point before they got their '05 Arrow XT). Corrections welcome. Los Angeles Fire Dept - Guest - 11-11-2007 From what i know from what the US Air Force and Atlanta expierences with Jaguars. They dont want them. All they do uis keep mechanics and welders employed.
