Wow! I've been away from the site for a while and it looks like this thread has been reset and blown-up.......!, with many of my posts missing and tons of other member's photos gone. Shame!!!!

Oh well. I'll try to catch up by re-posting my earlier pics again.

We've got six of them!  1000/980 with 20 gallons of Class A foam.  This one is based at Cape San Juan, at the south end of the island.

Here are some more photos taken by Bill Hattersley.

Engine 3 in Bellevue/WA was this 1986 Pemfab with E-One bodywork, 1750 gpm-pump, 500 gwt, and 50' Telesqurt. E-One # 4891

Bill Hattersley photo

Engine 3 was sold in 1998 to Yelm Fire District 2 (Thurston County, WA), and it briefly served as Engine 21 before the bubble lights on top broke, leading a Federal Signal Vector being taken off an old aid unit and put on the engine. Soon after, it was placed into reserve status, around 2005ish. Due to its age the current S.E. Thurston Fire Authority (successor by merger of Yelm Fire District 2 and Rainier Fire District 4 in 2012) has it indefinitley out of service as they can't afford the annual inspections to keep it sertified and it is now used for parades/public education.
