In neighborhoods like this you generally don't ask for the rigs to be pulled out <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/fireman.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Fireman' /> Got to spend some time with The 4-2-2 great stand up guys protecting a true American tragedy.

Great shots guys, I don't want to sound like an idiot, but not knowing the area I am guessing its one of the places in severe urban decay ?

8032--Let's just say that the area across the Mississippi River from St. Louis (East St. Louis, Cahokia, Washington Park etc) isn't the greatest place in the world to live......

It was that way when I lived in St Louis and it is still that way, and I have been out of St Louis almost 30 years now.

St. Louis Metro - ben_mazanec - 07-03-2011

East st. louis looks like some of the most desolate neighborhoods in Detroit but without the fire load

St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-05-2011

St. Louis Metro - Juice - 07-07-2011

Ben those 2 pictures are awesome! I hate Blue lights on a fire truck, but those really pop, I think your images add that effect.

Trav!

Yeah I've noticed that... I know, there are a lot of places that utilize Blue and Red/Green and Red, etc. but that's just not for me. You'll only find a handful of them in Indiana that have either, and most of which is near Chicago, so I'm partial to all Red or Red and White.

Trav!
