Massachusetts Fire Apparatus - Guest - 01-17-2008 Here's some recent photos of Norwood's new Squad 3. It has the matching lettering and graphics as the rest of the fleet, and the skid mount pump is based on the US Forest Service package. I believe it needs some more radio & other equipment mounted, but hopefully we'll be training on it soon. It had been removed from the p/u at the time of this photo. I did find out that they are ecpected around the time the new house for E1/L1 opens which looks to be in the next few months judging by the work completed on it so far. Anyone know if they are still planning to put E3 in North Revere?
Yes, E3 is going to new station in North Revere. New apparatus will not arrive in time for new station openings, which should be in about 3 months or so. Massachusetts Fire Apparatus - Guest - 01-17-2008 Where is the new house being built? I personally like the older firehouse's. Massachusetts Fire Apparatus - mmwolf65 - 01-17-2008
Where is the new house being built? E1 will cover most of their old district and all of E3's old district. E3 moving from Beachmont area to new FH in North Revere, will cover district that was long under served. Now there will be firehouses in the 4 quadrants of the city. I looked the same was lettered still but had one of those repair cranes you see on service trucks on the back. Does anybody know who knows this and where it might be to get a pciture of it? Nate Arnold I think? of Lynn E-9 sitting in a scrap yard in the Springfield area where it was being used as a scrap hauler. It's quite interesting that it's back out this way though. I'd be curious to find out where it is to get photos of it too. Massachusetts Fire Apparatus - Guest - 01-22-2008 Roger Baker saw it a few months ago driving down Rt 95 in Danvers...
