Love the Marion shots. They were taken by Marion Body at their Wisconsin facility or in and around the Marion area upon completion of each unit. There were usually several pictures taken of each vehicle. I don't know if they are still doing this.

I believe this was remounted on a Pierce Arrow with air tunnel for Petone, IL Fire Protection District.

The air tunnel in question was an option on late model Pierce Arrow chassis (the original, non-tilt style), beginning around 1993. The cab face was fitted with a square grille and the tunnel was located between that grille and the engine housing. If you can locate a shot of Castle Shannon's platform, it has one.
