St. Louis Metro - Guest - 08-21-2012 Quote:The pumper was sold to the Piedmont (Mo.) Fire Department several years ago. I'm not sure if they still have it, though. I didnt realize it was the same truck, but my brother was down that way a few years ago and grabbed a station pic. The Seagrave was parked in a bay out of the side of the building. Piedmont did experience a decent fire at their station not too long ago. Im not sure what damage was done, but a quick google search for "Piedmont MO Fire" brings up a few pics of their Pierce Quantum, Lance ladder truck and KME? Engine with a decent amount of smoke damage. I was in Piedmont a few weeks ago and made a trip by the station. Everything was locked up, but there appeared to be a new looking Pierce rig. I dont have anything more than that though. St. Louis Metro - photog999 - 08-28-2012 I finally had time to edit my pictures from the last month or so and here is a shot of Herculaneum's new Rosenbauer Commander Rescue Pumper. I got this shot down at Texas A&M when the local dealer had it for the trade show there. It is supposed to deliver to Herculaneum on 9/1. Engine 6314 has a 1500 pump and 750 tank. After thirty five years of lime green four new RED engines have been delivered. Over the years members of SFD had asked for RED apparatus however previous administrations did not desire to switch. These are well thought out basic engines with heavy duty features for the urban environment.
