Engine 402-Bravo. I will be sad to see this rig go. Short and tight wheelbase - and a Roto-Ray! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Engine 427 (West Springfield). From the 1st generation of county Velocity deliveries. In my humble opinion the county's Velocity spec's have improved with each order since.

Anyone know how much longer before FXCO and Arlington new rigs are going in service?

Soon I presume. Drove by the Apparatus shop north today and a lot of the new rigs appeared at be getting the final touches. What I'm most looking forward to is getting shots of the new Rescue Engine 433. She's a beautiful beast!

Compared to the photo above of Engine 427 (1st batch of Velocity's ordered) here is Engine 411 - from the 2nd batch.

This is the last one in frontline use. I think there is another one in the reserve fleet currently at FS405. But I could be wrong.

FOAM 426

Photographed at the Celebrate Fairfax Festival.

The Hazmat Team was there as well as the new Engine 418, but due to the amount of people around them all, I wasnt able to get good pictures.

I still like the ARFF style FOAM 426 better though, but this one is more practical.

Would they run this as a regular Tanker if needed?
