I recognize the refurbed 1957 Ward La France Fireball pumper - I remember watching Dad and the guys using that and the 1961 Maxim a lot. I'm curious what that other engine is. I never saw it when I was there, and never saw one like that in their history books. Anyone know? Thanks!

It looks to me like an IH/TASC. It has lettering on the hood that says Red Dog and the door says Sethville Fire District, maybe that info will help ya?

the start of the year they were busy with fires. it's been slow the last couple of months, a couple of small jobs. Danbury also has a career dept. with 5 engines, 1 truck, and on duty asst. chief.
