Boston Fire Department - Guest - 11-30-2006 Marine 3, the Norman Knight Boston Fire Department - R1SmokeEater - 11-30-2006 Any updates on the new Trucks/Pumps/Rescue ?? <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Boston Fire Department - KDWMAEMT - 11-30-2006 There are no ladder trucks on order. The new E\-One pump should be delivered very soon, Id say within a month or so. The rescue seems to be behind shedule. I got word from another member here that the rescue body was just starting construction a week or 2 ago, so Id say another 2 months there. Interesting part is that it will be a dual axle walk in box on a Quantum cab. I find that interesting that theyd get something that big but this is the Boston Fire Department we are talking about here and theyve been known over the past few years to do some unorthodox things.
