Old Engine 52 1925 AC-Model Mack Last I had heard this was still around in private hands. "Photographer Unknown"[/quote] Is West Side Hose the company that hosted that super big "farewell" party on Friday night of Fire Expo this year? I met a lot of guys from New Jersey on Saturday who were telling me about one of the Steelton fire companies that merged, sold the firehouse and property that the company had owned, so decided to blow between $50,000 and $100,000 on a farewell open house that outdid any parade or wetdown they had ever attended. They said the food and beer just kept coming all evening! Keystone State Relics - engine216 - 07-04-2007 Rich, I am not sure about that. I can check around and find out. The West Side merged with the other borough companies in 1985 to make the Steelton Fire Department. Next up is the Baldwin Fire Company No. 4 of Steelton. Company 53.
