In 2001, Zeager Brothers donated the engine back to the Liberty Fire Company and today it is used as a parade piece. This is a picture of it when it was in service. "Photographer Unknown"[/quote] I think I can answer the unknown photographer on this, the Ladder, and the Scope, all photographed at the Hershey Parade, back in the early 90's by myself. I am at work and would have to look through my slides but I am 99% positive they are mine. Not sure why I am patting myself on the back for parade photos, but I think I posted those on centralpafire back a couple years ago in a LONG central pa relics type thread. The top photo is mine and was taken somewhere between 1988-1993 at Hershey's parade, as was several of the photos you posted. The engine in the top photo is a Hamerly, the engine on the bottom, I think is an American Lafrance. Again since I am at work I don't have information available to me. in the post after this, of the other Highspire Ford C engine, that one was sold to Lairdsville, Lycomiong county and has since been placed out of service and I believe sold for parts to local farmers.
