I was fortunate enough to visit Delaware's old firehouse in the very early 1970's before it was replaced and demolished. One thing I remember is that Delaware Engine 2 was famous for its buttermilk served right from milk cans fresh from a local dairy. It was good. [/quote] Yes , After Warwick retired this truck in 1981 , Matamoras purchased it and refurbed it into a quint. They added a 750gpm pump and 500gal tank and used it until about 1993 . The truck was then sold to Hemlock Farms PA and used for about five more years . After that I have no idea ? Thankfully the problem has long been patched up but the firehouse has been replaced. |
