Wow, sure is a lot going on back there! Thank you everyone for sharing.

Thanks! I have never seen an H & W in person, but have always been impressed with what I have seen in photo's. Their willingness to work with the customer really shines through. I've always been a big fan of the smaller regional builders. Great shot.

Here is the Hose loads for our Engines at Hollywood (Maryland) VFD.

First off is our rear hose bed. From left to right we carry 200 ft of 2 1/2 in handline, 600 ft of 3 in supply line, 1,500 ft of 4 inc supply line, and a 350 ft 1 3/4in handline.

Next is the cross lays on our Engines.

We run 3 cross lays, from left to right we have a 200 ft 2in handline with a smooth bore tip, then the next to are 200 ft 1 3/4in handlines with one coming off each side of the engine.

Next is a shot of our standpipe packs (Racks) that are carried on the officers side of the Engine just under the ladder. We have 2 packs both 100 ft of 1 3/4in handline, both have a nozzle and the one to the rear has a short section of 3in with a gated Wye. These can be used together or seprately as a standpipe line or to extend on a line that has been deployed.

We run 2 Engines that have the same hose loads on both and then we have a Pumper/Tanker that has a different set up for hose. Here are some pictures of the hose loads for the Pumper/Tanker.

First is a shot of our cross lays.

We have 4 cross lays on this unit. Starting from left we have a 400ft line with 200ft 2 1/2in reduced down to 200ft of 2in handline with a smooth bore nozzle, next is a 200ft 2 1/2in handline, then we have 2 200ft 1 3/4in handlines with one coming off each side.

Second is a shot of the rear hose bed. We carry 1,500 ft of 4in supply hose on the left and 600 ft of 3in supply hose on the right. No hand lines come off the rear because of the height of the unit. This Engine carries 2,500 gallons of water and mostly runs as a tanker and is first out mutual aid.
