LOL! I spotted Station 4 in their hideout staged due to the traffic from the Chinatown New Years parade. Well after new 4s open, its time to take a nice walk over there!

Construction for the new 4's is well underway and the station should be fully operartional by 2009. It will in addition to housing Station 4 units house Lafd dispatch and the LAPD EOC.

Went by the current station 4 and my friend asked the firefighters when they will be moving into the new station. Their reply was around June but they will move when they are instructed to.

Engine 33 from "Fire City" is now protecting "The Rock" in Eagle Rock as Engine 42. Was put into service as 42's on 5/31.
