In July of this year, we took a trip out to Brookings, SD to photograph their new fleet. On the way out and back we shot several other departments. First up is North Mankato, MN

When the department wanted to purchase a new truck, they wanted something similar to the one I just posted. The city balked at the cost of the custom chassis, so this is what they ended up with.

Next stop down the road, is New Ulm. We did not have a contact, but decided to stop at the station and found the department secretary working. I know that she did not fall prey to my charms, because I do not have any, so it must have been Paul. Pretty soon a couple of drivers showed up and we visited both stations. We were a little early at this location, so the sun was still a bit low.

The newest rig in the fleet is E-10 2006 Spartan Advantage/Crimson 1250/600 Chassis#54654

We wanted to shoot R-260 in the same spot. Unfortunately, it had a battle scar on the drivers side.
