Being sold from Lancaster, PA. The seller has the incorrect SN though and curious if anyone knows where this rig served. I think its safe to say its a 'relic'. Judging by the body work it needs, I doubt this one will last much longer as a complete truck. They had a 1974 Maxim FFCLT100 100' tiller with serial # 3226. (The incorrect s/n shown on e-bay states 3236- a pumper for Seminole, FL) In my informal research, I found Maxim had only produced 11 or so F model 100' tillers in the time frame around 1974. But none come as close as Schenectady to the stated e-bay serial #. I'll see if I can come up with a photo to make a definitive match. I'll keep you posted. I'll keep you posted.[/quote] Schenectady trucks of this era had "Fire Dept." and the unit number on the doors, just like this one does. I would say that it has to be a Schenectady rig.
