North Tonawanda's reserve engine doesnt look like the typical Ottawa pumper. every Ottawa I have seen look like Hahns on the front clip.

[/quote]Dave, I think he's refering to the 4 warning/headlight stack on either side of the front sheet metal. I've seen that on another Ottawa, but I can't remember where. More dainbramage I guess. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Hysterical' /> TJ <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/stirpot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Stirpot' />

Oh, okay. I'm thinking that this rig was older than 1993, but that's what the tag said. Here's another:

Looks like it's been refurbe'd.

It's got Dash turn signals, LED intersection lights and a brow light.

Quite ugly IMO.

It has, but I shot it prior to the refurb, and it still had the unusual Ottawa front fascia then.

Salt Lake City had also one of these.

There was yet another series of Ottawa-cabs with front grill.

Engine 11 in Encinitas/CA was this 1991 Ottawa/Beck 1500/500 engine.

Engine 31 from Hillsborough/CA was one of three 1992 Ottawa/Beck 1500/500.

I didn't think that style of Ottawa cab was all that rare, but I could have been wrong. Here is a shot of an American Eagle demo rig I shot many years ago at the National Ambulance dealer in Decatur, GA. This was in the late 1980's and it was a 1250/750.

This & That from Here & There - GA_Dave - 08-19-2012

Years later, I photographed Engine 4 in Tifton, GA. It could be the same rig, but the cab has been fully enclosed.
