Squad 11 came to Summerville via a grant and runs Haz-Mat calls, assists local police agencies with crystal meth labs, runs motor vehicle and any rescue calls for all four stations in Summerville. Because this truck was on a grant this truck can be immobilized South Carolina mutual aid immobilization. Squad 11 as you can see runs out of Weber Station (Station 1). This truck was dedicated to one of our past fire chief's John Weber. I have to credit my wife for this picture, this was taken last december at the Christmas parade we host in town every year. According to him, the town council initially was going to give them the money to buy it but in the end backed out. I have not been by Woodruff yet to confirm this however. There was also 1960 Mack C and an American lafrance Ladder under a tarp I did not get a pic of. However, Here is a 1973 Seagrave That served at the BMW plant in Spartanburg, Where she started service At I dont remember. I was too busy talking and not taking notes. Ha! .
