A true classic...a Tatter-Mack. Does anyone know what happen to this rig after the city got rid of it?

I saw a posting that the town of Lynnfield is auctioning off this engine along with a 1936 Maxim and both scopes, theirs and the former Peabody ladder.

Im told the 1936 Maxim is in pretty rough shape, it has been sitting in a storage container behind the station for many years and moisture has taken its toll on it. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Sad' />
