Not that I am looking to argue with Dave "rheems1" <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hail.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Hail' /> somehow I came up with this being a 1977 Ford C8000/Hamerly 1000 pump 1100 water. This engine was Sold to North Mountain Fire Co. Columbia County, who replaced it in 2003, unknown where it went from there.

Thanks Dave and Darin. I figured it was a Hamerly, just didn't have the other particulars. So it's either a 76 or 77 and has either a 750 or 1100 gallon tank.

Additional info on your fine posts:

Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale

Dodge Power Wagon, 4-door conv.cab, compartmented walk-around rescue body, purchased used, extended bumper with center winch, in 9-77 in service, dual rear wheels, large numeral 8 on front, sold to Silver Spring in 1984 ?
Is this Silver Spring in Cumberland County? I have info for them as having a 1968 Dodge D-300/Myers Rescue that was purchased from East Salisbury? Or was it sold to Silver Spring in Lancaster County?

Hmm, my information is off of a Hamerly list that I obtained a year or so ago... now having said that... if anyone has seen how Les Hamerly built apparatus I guess there is room for error on his record keeping <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' /> as well (as a number of fire companies who didn't get their apparatus when Les went belly up will tell you).

The Friendship Fire Co. #5 of Carlisle (Cumberland Co. 42 at this time, now Co 45 due to merger) ran this 1966 American LaFrance Pioneer 750/750 from 1966-1979. This engine was sold to the Upper Frankford Fire Co. (Cumberland Co 48) and from there was sold by Bob Jones of Shippensburg to a company in the Caribbean.

The Friendship Fire Co #5 of Carlisle bought this 1966 American LaFrance 1250/300 from the Navy-Vale Fire Dept. in Fairfax County VA in 1984. Navy-Vale has since become the Fair Oaks Station 21 in FCFR. The rig was refurbed and ran as Chemical Wagon 42 from 1984-1990. It was sold to the Franklin Borough Fire Dept. in Johnstown PA in 1990. Franklin Borough sold the rig in the late 1990's/early 2000's. Does anyone know the current location of this engine?

Friendship Fire Co #5 of Carlisle ran this 1916 Ahrens-Fox Model K-3 #625 from 1916-1935. This rig was traded to Hahn in 1935. Does anyone know if records maintained by Hahn tracked the disposition of rigs that were traded to them?

In the past, somebody replied that this rig was privately owned in Anne Arundel County MD. Does anyone know who the current owner is?

This belonged to the Goodwill FC-Bridgeport (Montgomery Co.),PA (not NJ). It is a 1961 Mack B-85-F 750/500 delivered 5-8-61 as chassis number 1438. In 1988 it was sold to a collector near State College,PA.
I believe this now belongs to the chief of the Tolar VFD in Hood County TX.

This the rig that is currently in Tolar, Texas. It is Bridgeport's former 1951 Mack Model LS-85 750/300 and not the 1961 B-85.
