Terry's Tid Bits II - Guest - 04-26-2007 Terry, The tanker you are unsure about was built for the Wilburton Fire Co. in PA. and was built by KME. Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 04-26-2007 Thanks for the info sir! It was a case of too many trucks and not enough time. Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - BA000049 - 04-27-2007 Terry, You going up to Glick's open house tomorrow ? Bruce Terry's Tid Bits II - Guest - 04-27-2007 Just to let you guys know the big Baltimore County 125th Anniversary Parade is tomorrow as well in Towson. Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 04-27-2007 Bruce I will be at Glick's tomorrow and thanks to Mr. Shoop for the info on the Towson parade but I would rather see 15 new Pierces than the Baltimore County stuff as I see it all the time. Thanks to both!!! Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-01-2007 Chillum-Adelphi runs this 2006 Seagrave 1250gpm 500gal. Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-01-2007 The other side of the truck which carries job# 78D40. Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-01-2007 Sterling Park,Va.runs this 2006 Seagrave Marauder II 104' aerial which carries job#87R01. Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-02-2007 Brentwood,Md. runs this Pemfab(?)/FMC 1500gpm pumper which is on loan to Beltsville. Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-02-2007 The other side of the truck, the only number I cound find was on the pump panel, serial #7375. Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - GA_Dave - 05-02-2007 Quote:Brentwood,Md. runs this Pemfab(?)/FMC 1500gpm pumper which is on loan to Beltsville. Quote:The other side of the truck, the only number I cound find was on the pump panel, serial #7375. 1988 PemFab/FMC 1500/500 7375 is the FMC production number. Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-03-2007 Thanks Dave! Pemfab was a guess and there was no one outside so I did not open anything up to look for any other numbers. Terry[/quote] Terry, is this a Towermax??? Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-03-2007 Yes it is and Odenton,Md. has a Mid mount Towermax,I guess that is the correct term. Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-07-2007 The West End Fire Co. of Shippensburg,Pa. took delivery of this KME Predator last year and showed it off at the expo. Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-07-2007 Hellam,Pa. showed their LME Predator pumper off aswell, unit has a 2250gpm 1000gal(?). Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-07-2007 Pierce brought this Pierce Dash with 77" cab and Ladder Gantry. Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - YeOldeEnjine - 05-11-2007 Terry; You got part of your wish.... We just got notice from Appleton... THE SABER LIVES ON! The Saber has been returned to the chassis line-up for sale with 2007 Engines. It only made sense to keep the SABER since the Custom Contender was based off the same cab shell and chassis. I wouldn't look for the DASH or LANCE to return, but at least the ARROW-XT and the SABER will continue the "Ford" windshield family line. See you at the Ocean, Tim W. Awesome, great decision by Pierce. Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-11-2007 Thanks for the news Tim! I can keep on hoping but I believe you are right that the other three are gone short of a miracle. Terry |
