mt. zion truck 1 and engine are no longer in service, unsure where truck 1 went but the engine went to richland comm. college's fire science program and has since been painted some goofy green color and had flowers all over it. mt zion now has a 1990? simon duplex/ lti 100' tower with a 1500 pump and no tank. and engine 3 is now the late 80's white/volvo/ rpi rehab.

The truck was picked up by the fine folks of Blair, IA yesterday. The truck was planned to have been put into service yesterday evening...

Supposed to be a community of 140 or so folks. I can't find them on a map though.

Coop and I paid a visit to Willard Airport's ARFF today. For those of you that don't know, Willard is a small airport just south of Champaign in Savoy. The fire department is part of U of I, as is the airport. The student pilots in aviation at U of I fly in and out, as well as some commercial traffic.
