Pine Run FC is located in Beaver County. It is still around, and the rigs are that same color.

Scott,

Can you imagine this. The Ford/American Engine you posted for White Twp. in Beaver County is still in frontline service. I took pictures of it last year.

Scott, just an FYI, I will be away on vacation until Sunday, and away from any connection to a PC etc. I will most likely have to enter rehab by that time from being away from FirePics. I will get up on your posts early next week if you have posted anything from my area.

PHILADELPHIA 1950 ALF MIDMOUNT LADDER 34

I think I have this unit narrowed down to one of these two units...

Philadelphia PA 1950 7-65-AJO L-4070 4416 3/24/1950 4/26/1950 4070

Philadelphia PA 1950 7-65-AJO L-4071 4416 3/28/1950 4/26/1950 4071

It looks like Philadelphia took delivery of five of these units in 1950. They were all 65 footers. The other 3 went to L-17, L-20 and L-30. Unless - of course, this unit was re-numbered and re-assigned later in it's career.

They also took delivery of 4 85' tillers and 4 100' tillers in 1950. All were open cabs.
