x-Avondale Engine 172. 1994 E\-One Cyclone. IIRC this rig started at E-171, then moved to E-172 when they got a new Cyclone II in 2001. I'm sure this rig was sold when they got the Quantums in 2005.

Okay, thinking about this a little more...maybe the Seagrave is ex-Glendale? I know they mostly bought ALF from the late 60's until the mid/late-80's, but it looks like this rig might have been yellow at one time, given the inside cab color.

Of course, nothing says it has to have been from Arizona, either. I'll keep thinking.

E\-One Sentry, not a Cyclone.

Thanks, I'll correct it. I guess the frame length fooled me into thinking it was a Cyclone. I know some of the differences between the Cyclone and Hurricane, but what sort of things distinguish the Sentry and Cyclone?

Caught Phoenix Engine 2 and Engine 1 on the ramp yesterday morning.

Look at the cab doors.  On all E\-One cabs except the Sentry, the doors overlap the cab side, but on the Sentry, the doors are flush.  On the other models, there is a radius curve on the door that parrallels the wheelwell.  On the Sentry, that same area is made of two angular lines.

Thanks, that's a good explanation. I didn't know.

Coming to a Phoenix (AZ) fire station soon, one of two caught on the "Blue Floor" by my "spy" who is checking on some Fairfax County rigs. No details. I understand PFD will do the graphics.

I caught Ladder 4 and Hazmat 4 responding to a gas leak yesterday...

Sorry about the positioning, I couldn't do any better with the traffic, etc...
