Just saw a rear photo of Arlington's new Quint or Truck 9 on Dallas/ Fort Worth Fire News. It is a Spartan/Smeal 100ft. Does anyone know if it has a pump and a tank or is it dry? It appeared to have a compartment door where the pump would be and I could barley make out what appeared to be Truck 9 on the door. It would be fantastic if Arlington was dumping the Quints and returning to Real Dry Trucks.

Thanks in advance,

Rick

The photographer that took the picture told me the designation is Quint 9.

I guess it is indeed a quint.

Thanks Lindsay, too bad the old Arlington of five dry Trucks was great. Dry Trucks are the only way to go for mid to large cities in my own opinion, keep it simple.

Stay Safe, Rick

Do the blue/green strobe light bars have any significance?

Around here, green is almost strictly command, we do have 1 department with a single green warning light on apparatus.

I do not have an answer for you at this time.

I will ask around and see what I can find out.
