Actually, the F-series tractors were built from 1962-81. Notice the similarities between the top half of an F-series cab and the CF fire cabs.

The yellow open cab American LaFrance lettered Kinlock, is a 1960 900 series purchased new in 1960 by the City of New Kensington, PA. It served as Engine #1 until September 1990 when it was replaced by a Spartan/4-Guys. The LaFrance was sold to Lower Burrell No. 1, (Kinlock) and remained as a second engine out until about 4 years ago. It is supposed to be at a collectors garage in Apollo, PA.

Mike,

When I was at Saxonburg the chief told me that they only had two Mack CF's. The 1968, and the 1971. I have slides of both of these in my collection, but no 1974. The 1971 was refurbed by 4-Guys. The 1968 is in a local museum in the town if I remember correctly.
