Relics - John Kenealy - 07-13-2012 I have not seen that logo for Childs before. Looks just like a Maxim one. Relics - Guest - 07-14-2012 There is a '27 Childs chemical truck sitting in Lima, NY. Lima's Childs was the first motorized fire truck in Livingston County. Lima's current firehouse is on Main Street in the village of Lima. Forty Years ago, Lima's firehouse was Hayes & Andrews Ford, so the Childs sits in what used to be the showroom of what was once a car dealership.
