Phoenix Metropolitan Area Fire Apparatus - Guest - 03-26-2015 Yep plus they still have a few Saulsbury's that need replacement and once they start adding & building new station's again, they are going to need a lot more rigs, They want to have all Pierce Fleet by 2020 Phoenix Metropolitan Area Fire Apparatus - hp1530 - 03-27-2015 What will happen with the mid mount ladders? Any plans to replace them? Any reason to remount the Squads instead of purchasing new ones and using the old units for reserve/spare? Phoenix Metropolitan Area Fire Apparatus - Guest - 03-27-2015 There are getting some Pierce Velocity Mid mount Ladder Towers soon 1 should be on the line very soon in Appleton, and they are working on the contract/specs for more The trucks are all suppose to be Velocity's, not sure how many will be mid mounts & rear mounts Re: Squads, remounting the body save's money, they already remounted several rescues (ambulances) Phoenix Metropolitan Area Fire Apparatus - thom2943 - 04-14-2015 Wickenburg 1937 Chevrolet Van Pelt Phoenix Metropolitan Area Fire Apparatus - Image7801 - 05-11-2015 Phoenix Engine 14 2005 American LaFrance Eagle mid engine 1250/500/80a Phoenix Metropolitan Area Fire Apparatus - Guest - 05-16-2015 Surprise E303 is getting a new Spartan/SVI engine (same specs at E301) Phoenix Metropolitan Area Fire Apparatus - Image7801 - 05-16-2015 Quote:Surprise E303 is getting a new Spartan/SVI engine (same specs at E301) The E-Burys are getting older, just like Peoria's (all in reserve for the time being) and Glendale's. I don't think Phoenix have many left, if any. Phoenix Metropolitan Area Fire Apparatus - Guest - 05-16-2015 Any update on when Peoria's 3 New Rosenbauer's (commanders) will be delivered ? Phoenix Metropolitan Area Fire Apparatus - Image7801 - 05-16-2015 No, but I should be going to the shop in the near future and will ask them. The shop guys told me the other day that the remounted brush truck is almost ready. I didn't have time to stop, so a drive-by was all I could get. Tempe Scene Support 274 - Some of the East Valley departments call their air/light rigs "Scene Support", instead of "Utility". 20xx Freightliner/Hackney(?) Phoenix Metropolitan Area Fire Apparatus - Image7801 - 05-28-2015 Today was a pretty good day out and about... Here is a very rare bird, LT1's 1992 IHC/E-One. This may be the last of them in the fleet. My guess is that since Station 1 is in downtown Phoenix, the "big" ladder runs much more than the LT. Phoenix Metropolitan Area Fire Apparatus - Image7801 - 05-28-2015 Here's the latest generation of LT. This is LT22's 2013 Freightliner/Rosenbauer.
