Southern California Small cities - Guest - 01-13-2008 Hearst Castle was the home of William Randolph Hearst and was donated to the State of California to avoid inheritance taxes when he died. It is a California state park and has this engine and one other which is white (not an HME). Here's a few more photo's of the HME... I was on vacation several years ago and we went down the PCH from San Francisco to LA. About an hour to hour and a half down the road, there was a really nice fire station just off the PCH with several nice pieces of equipment. It was also a very nice station. Would any of you happen to know what department this is and possibly have pictures?
