The airboats are kept at the South Boathouse but because of some storm they were pulled from the water. Rare opportunity to shoot them....

There are two smaller boats and the larger boat which when I was there as you have seen was on a trailer at the station. The north boathouse was falling apart and a dangerous. They have a temporary shelter for two of the boats and they were keeping the larger SAFE boat on trailer in the station until the new north boathouse can be completed. I am not sure the status of construction but I will probably find out tomorrow or later this week.

I was only able to shoot one of the small boats as the second was out training when I was there. It was a fun ride with Battalion 301 around and across the end of two runways to get to the temp north boathouse. I really owe him a great deal of thanks for allowing me to get shots at the temp north boathouse.
