F.D.N.Y. - tntway - 09-20-2010 probably a 4" like Dodge is doing now (FINALLY) on the Cummins equiped Rams. when i had my Ram, i had the skimpy 3 1/2" stock exhaust removed and a stainless 4" installed. had a friend that had a 5" straight pipe installed on his...but mine sounded WAY better!!! F.D.N.Y. - firescooby - 09-20-2010
Anyone notice the tailpipes on these GMCs are hugh?
It's got a bigger pipe because of the DPF. When in regeneration mode, it pulls air into the exhaust just shy of the exit. F.D.N.Y. - Guest - 09-21-2010 And God help you if you modify that tailpipe. GM will shred your warranty right there in front of you. F.D.N.Y. - tntway - 09-21-2010 like Chrysler would supposedly do if you didn't use their stuff.......never mind that i used CUMMINS oil filters. its such a sham!!!
