Relics - B95MACKFIRE - 01-30-2013 `It has 362 and raido equipped on the passenger door and 214 on one of the hard suctions. Relics - B95MACKFIRE - 01-30-2013 on the hard suction Relics - VFN102 - 01-31-2013 Quote:I stopped to look at this pumper years ago before the paint turned "pink" - at one time you could read the lettering on the driver's door or hood and I recall that it said something about a State Hospital but I can't remember the name of the hospital. It may have said "Petersburg" or something similar.Yes, there is a Central State Hospital (a mental facility) located in Petersburg, VA. Relics - bcfd424 - 02-01-2013 I found this truck a couple of weeks ago in Winston Salem, NC. I could not get any information off of it because of a downed tree blocking the drive. I believe it is from the Gretna FD in Virginia. Relics - marco17 - 02-10-2013 Quote:I found this truck a couple of weeks ago in Winston Salem, NC. Relics - Guest - 02-11-2013 Found in Delaware Co, PA Relics - Frank B - 02-12-2013 Quote:Found in Delaware Co, PAWhere? road & town Relics - Guest - 02-12-2013 Quote:Where? Spruce St & Maple Ave, just south of Springfield Relics - John Kenealy - 02-18-2013 This 1974 Ward LaFrance, marked for South Butler, NY was found at a farm equipment auction lot in Seneca County, NY. According to the data plate, it is a 1974, and has a 1250 pump. Spec. No. 80-1038. Anybody have a Ward list that has this one on it? I'm guessing it came from someplace else. Relics - John Kenealy - 02-18-2013 Pump panel side in the shade. Again, looking for any further info on this. Thanks. My list has 80-1038 as being sold to Rochester, NY. It was delivered on 9/25/1974. Relics - smketrfdny - 02-19-2013 Looks in decent shape. Wheres the auction? Stay safe, Brother. Wheres the auction?http://www.aaauctionfinder.com/auction/3fe36e30-514e-8f56-cbe2-fb1f08126a16 I'm guessing the 1974 "American" LaFrance at the bottom of the list refers to this truck. Relics - Guest - 02-20-2013 The Marbletown Fire Department (also in Wayne County) also had a truck very similar to that several years ago. Their truck was also acquired used. Marbletown's truck was in very nice shape, so based on the proximity, that may be the same truck. Relics - Guest - 02-23-2013 Quote:I can remember back in '87 when Vol's in Driver purchased this rig from a Dept in L.I.N.Y., it was White over Lime, served Driver well. BTW it's an Oren. Former Oceanside LI, NY was assigned to Columbia Eng Co #1. I know some of their members are looking for it. Stay safe, Brothers. Relics - bcfd424 - 02-25-2013 I found these two behind the Del Rio FD in Tennessee right after Christmas.
