Bruce Darby Twp. #4 1968 Hahn 78, Cincinnati canopy cab, 1000/500, model CS-10, delivered 11/20/68, seen 3/14/98 in junk yard off of Hook Road - Darby Twp. It was sold to Hendron (McCracken County, KY), who repainted it LYW. Broomall 1965 FWD Tractioneer/Bruco/Hi-Ranger, Cincinnati canopy cab forward, 4x4, 750 GPM, 85 ft snorkel, gas motor, manual transmission, housed 5/14/66. The motor seized in late 1983. In 1984 it was refurbed with the following being done: repainted RW, Detroit 6V92 diesel installed, automatic transmission installed, new diamond plate, Maxi brake, and a 5 KW diesel generator installed. Put up for sale in 1/98, sold in 12/98 for $7,500 to the Delaware County Fire Academy. By 2006, in service at Riceboro (Liberty County, GA). Middletown 1976 American LaFrance, Century series Dominion, canopy cab, 1500/500, 50 ft Tele-Squirt, Detroit diesel 8V71N, 350 HP, automatic, 3.5 KW Inverter. A 4-door enclosure was added in 1990. Sold in 1998 to Vinemount-Providence VFC (Cullman County, AL). Info on the Fairless Hills rescue from Al Powell: 1977 Mack MB-600/Swab, custom enclosed walk-in rescue body, $100,000, std.tilt-COE, delvd 3-77, chassis purchased through Robert Fosbenner, housed 6-11-77 in conjunction with 25th Anniv, in 1991 sold to Tri-Township Ambulance Assn-East Smithfield (Bradford Co.),PA, in 10-02 PAFM pg 44 offered for sale by Smithfield Twp.VFD-END675 Mack diesel motor 237 HP, 5-spd man trans,two Onan 12 KW diesel generators with cab remote start, 8 bottle cascade, body heat and air conditioning, 10-ton hydraulic winch on rear with 150 ft cable, A-frame on rear, in 2003 owned by individual in Mainsburg (Bradford Co.),PA-seen sitting in field.
