Truck companies that responded to the 2/28/93 fire in Frederick:

1st alarm; Citizen's TRK.42 (sustained heat damage)

Independent Hose Co. Tower 1

2nd alarm; Citizens Trk 41 (mechanical failure)

Montgomery Co. Trk 29 (Germantown)

3rd alarm; Boonsboro VFD (Washington Co.) Trk 6

Several other mutual-aid trucks filled-in Frederick's stations or reported to the scene for relief.

Boonsboro's Trk 6 is being positioned on the west side of the building, about 2 hours after arriving.

Boonsboro ran Riverdale's Mack CF from 1992-99.

In 1968, the Cumberland,MD FD retractored its 1949 Seagrave 85' tillered aerial truck with a new Seagrave K-model tractor.

At about the same time, the Bowie,Md. VFD was looking to place a truck co. at their Sta. 39. The surplus 1949 tractor from Cumberland was mated with a 1940 Seagrave 100' trailer (from DCFD???), and placed in service. Not sure how long this lasted.
