St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-05-2007 Thanks for the info on Pattonville DJ. Pattonville FPD Medic 4837 2006 Ford/MedTec St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-05-2007 Pattonville FPD Engine 4830 1996 Smeal I wasnt able to get it pulled out with the crew training on the new rigs. St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-05-2007 The FF didnt want me to get too close with them training, so I wasnt able to get great shots of the two new engines. Engine 4814 2007 Spartan/Rosenbauer St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-05-2007 The rear of the two new units Engine 4824, 4814 St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-05-2007 Pattonville FPD Medic 4817 2006 Ford/MedTec This unit got wet from the engines deck guns. They were shooting over the station. St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-05-2007 Pattonville FPD Training Officer 4804 2005 Chevy 1500 St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-05-2007 West Overland Reserve Engine 5210 1996 Ferrara This looks grainy because my camera picked up some of the water vapor from the deck gun training St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-05-2007 My next stop was to this brand new Community FPD station 1, also a brand new Sutphen engine lives here. Station 2 is scheduled to be rebuilt in the newar future and they will be recieving a twin to this engine. I like to thank the Community FF for pulling it out even though he wasnt the engineer. He also gave me the grand tour of the beautiful new station. I wish I had a pic of the old to show how bad the other house was. St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-05-2007 Nice shots as always Phil! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yourock.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ![]() St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-05-2007 Next stop on my trip was the Normandy, Missouri Fire Department. Unfortunately, for some unknown reason they wouldnt pull their very nice Pierce engines out. I had no clue they had two until I stopped by. Also the numbering at this station doesnt correspond very well with the St. Louis Metro numbering system. Although this is one station the pumpers are numbered as if they have a station 1 and 2. Also the medic is numbered as if it runs from station 3. Normandy only has this one station. Im not sure why they are like this. St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-05-2007 Normandy Engine 4724 2006 Pierce Enforcer This is the engine numbered for a station 2, I wasnt able to get any other shots of it. St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-05-2007 Normany Engine 4714 2005 Pierce Enforcer Same with this, not other shot. They sure are nice looking units though. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ![]() St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-05-2007 Normandy Medic 4737 2004 Ford This is numbered for a station 3 St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-05-2007 My final stop of the day was Springdale Fire located in North Jefferson County. I stopped in to shoot the Jefferson County HazMat unit. St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-05-2007 Jefferson County HazMat-HSRT 2006 Pierce Saber *1 of 3 purchased by Homeland Security: St. Louis County and Madison Co., Il have the others.* St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-05-2007 back side Thats it. I have a couple police cars that I will post over in the appropriate section. St. Louis Metro - npfd801 - 07-06-2007 [quote name='SLCPDEXPLORER' post='126154' date='Jul 5 2007, 22:09 ']The FF didnt want me to get too close with them training, so I wasnt able to get great shots of the two new engines. Engine 4814 2007 Spartan/Rosenbauer I'm struggling with these. Are you sure that they aren't Precision rigs? I should know if they're Rosebauer rigs, and I just can't find the tell tale signs, plus the badges on the grill, pump panel and so forth look like Precision's badges. Not trying to be a know it all, just trying to see if I'm completely nuts. Anymore, the boys at the plants slap the big red R wherever they can. St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-06-2007 Yes, sorry they are Precison rigs. |
