Most of my records span from 2000-2006 but I have a few older one's as well.I know the Auburn indiana tower ladder was a demo unit and its serial # is 89001 http://www.indianafiretrucks.com/Station.aspx?StationId=121 FWD Seagrave's New Website - e290l103 - 02-24-2013 Sterling is an RK Aerial Quote:According to their website it's a 2006 not sure why it's not on my list I will have to check and see what it's cut off date in 2006 was. Truck #89013 is on my list as an Apollo with a order date of 9-8-03 as a Seagrave direct demo truck with a sales engineering drawing to go along with it dated Jan of 2004. It's possible that they canceled the order but those usually were dropped from the list if that was done. I looked up the other numbers you provided and could not find anything associated with 89002 or 75901 on my list. 87002 I have shown as being built for Chase Enterprise Company ltd, and being provided by them to Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand. Thanks for the list of trucks know to have been delivered. Kris FWD Seagrave's New Website - e290l103 - 02-25-2013 that makes sense going by their website. http://www.chasesiam.com/index.php?menu=2&lang=en FWD Seagrave's New Website - Guest - 02-25-2013 Quote:that makes sense going by their website. Look's like perhaps they are a broker of fire apparatus which would fit. The drawing shows a complete truck minus the pump panel / housing between the cab and bodywork. I wonder if perhaps they installed a pump after it arrived overseas. Kris FWD Seagrave's New Website - KDWMAEMT - 02-25-2013 From the PE drawings on the site, it looks as though this first Apollo II is not even a demo but is being custom built for Bridgeton Fire Department in New Jersey. I was hoping that MAYBE theyd have it to unveil at FDIC, which is certainly possible. Just depends on how long this whole transformation has been underway/under wraps. Guess we'll have to wait and see. Guess we'll have to wait and see. Looking at the drawings they were prepared in June, signed off on 9-11-12 and there were further changes on 12-11-12. The real question is what changes were made in December? If production began in September / October I could see this truck being ready to make it to FDIC depending on the changes in December. Overall it looks like a nice rig. Kris FWD Seagrave's New Website - chewitt - 02-25-2013 The Clintonville WI Fire Dept bought the old Denver rig and refurbished it. Old PG Tower 18 was sitting in the aerial plant in December 2007. It was dismantled as if it was going to be refurbished. Anyone know where it went? That's interesting to know about Clintonville, not sure about the old Prince George unfortunately my records end in 2006 when I left the dealer I worked for at the time. Hard to keep score... EDIT: Nevermind. Time to go to the eye doc. FWD Seagrave's New Website - rcroft - 03-01-2013 New site also shows a new model Attacker HD - shows the Louisville Dive Unit and also listed for FDNY new delivery FWD Seagrave's New Website - KDWMAEMT - 03-01-2013 If memory serves me correctly, the Attacker HD is just a newer version of the Attacker II which had been a cab offering for a few years now. Looks like its a more severe service type Marauder II with a split tilt cab. Nothing REALLY new aside from the Apollo II, just a website revamp of their product line form what I see. But a step in the right direction nonetheless. FWD Seagrave's New Website - KENTucky - 03-03-2013 It seems to me that Seagrave's investment owner is hoping the FWD parent company name will bring renewed success. I don't see it. Seagrave always had more name recognition than FWD did. As for the Attacker HD, when Louisville's unit was delivered last summer, it was a Marauder II. They just renamed the split-tilt version with this website update and apparently reverted to the Louisville unit as the "pilot" Attacker HD. The interior really isn't any more "heavy duty" than our previous Marauder IIs. Seagraves really are tanks. But, they've literally priced themselves out of the market. Seagrave isn't "winning" a bid. You have to WANT a Seagrave to order a Seagrave. Louisville continues to order Seagrave. But, our suburban fire districts have jumped ship...they know they can't justify the pricing and are now writing relatively open specs to which most competitors can bid on. I have no confirmation, but I heard at the last FDIC that Seagrave built anywhere from 42 to "under 100" deliveries in 2011. I'd guess that number to be around 50 for 2012, including FDNY deliveries. Anyone else have a number? It that is the case, builders like Toyne and even 4-Guys build many more rigs a year than Seagrave now. I hope Seagrave can make themselves more marketable and competitve. Kent Parrish Louisville, KY FWD Seagrave's New Website - Guest - 03-03-2013 Kent, I agree with everything you said, but not only do you have to want it but in most places it seems you have to beg for it even after saying you want it. Keep in mind I no longer have any insider access but your numbers seem good from what I've heard from the few who have access. I was told 2011 was under 50 units, I will see if I can find out anything on 2012 numbers. Kind of scary if you like Seagrave. One has to wonder how long they can survive on those kind of numbers even with a determined owner. Kris FWD Seagrave's New Website - e290l103 - 03-05-2013 by my count 6 ladders of all types, 48 pumpers, and a rescue thats it for 2011 FWD Seagrave's New Website - Guest - 03-05-2013 Heck, you can't even beg them in my area. I had to make numerous phone calls to numerous vendors to continue to get the same run around. As of this date the best they were able to do is offer us a demo some 3 1/2 hours from our home town when there are plenty others closer. I attempted to get a demo brought in back in October of 2012 and it took them until just one week ago to get us this demo 3 1/2 hours away. Its pretty hard to keep the guys interested in a brand when the best they have been able to do for us is provide a few brochures. A piece of paper isn't going to sell a fire truck. I am a diehard Seagrave fan but I'll tell you I am losing hope in the brand after this recent experience. How do I brag up a product to the guys when they can't even show us a demo?!?!?
